Pig

Pig was performed by Theatre Arts Foundation students of the East 15 Acting School.

“They say he isn’t human. They say he’s God. And if he isn’t? Then he is a man and I will kill him”, John, Pig

Based on the famous Gaderene demoniac incident in the Gospels, Pig centres on a lone farmer's quest for justice when his herd of swine are hurled over a cliff to their death during an exorcism by Jesus and his disciples.

MARY. "If you could see what I have seen. I have seen lonely and broken men smile like children once again. I have seen the unloved and unlovely cry out in the dark and wander in winter landscapes and receive light in their darkest hours. I have seen so much pain everywhere I went and then I saw hope in the faces of the hopeless and I knew this man was the Son of God. All this is lost. Gone. Vanished. Like a lover’s kiss no more. "
