I currently devise, lead and facilitate playwrighting workshops and performances with Year 5, 6 & 11 pupils in Newham primary and secondary schools

Authors and texts I have worked with pupils on include Children's Laureate Michael Rosen, Greek Myths and the celebrated picture book Something Else, with its underlying message of acceptance and empathy.

After supporting and guiding pupils in writing dramatic dialogue and creating scenes through improvisation, read throughs, and analysis/discussion of source material, pupils are assigned parts, learn their lines and perform their self-devised 'playlets' to other pupils.
